Everything support ReFS?

Post by Debugger »

I would like to have a ReFS partition (22TB HDD) for very small files, as NTFS is inefficient for very small files! Copying will always be low, even on the fastest drives on the market!
My question is does it support Everything ReFS?
Advantages of ReFS:
Better performance: For large file operations (e.g., copying, moving), ReFS can offer better performance by optimizing operations on large volumes.

Everything has native support for ReFS.
Tools -> Options -> ReFS

The initial index is slow as there's no Master File Table.

Like NTFS, ReFS has a USN Change Journal so Everything will pickup all changes.

Why not trying it ?
It takes 5 minutes to make a set-up and then wait to see how long it takes in your case.
