mobile Safari (iPhoneOS) can search, but not view

I love the http server in Everything, and love the remote searching on a computer and/or my iPhone OS device using mobile Safari.

The problem is that I can't view any files after searching for them from mobile Safari (iPhone/iPod Touch)

For example, I can easily search for a file and get results.
working example: http://localhost/?s=photo.jpg

But I can't actually view it. It attempts to download it as a file...regardless of the file type. Unfortunately because Safari doesn't allow saving a file, it won't let me view.
not working example: http://localhost/C:/photo.jpg

I've done some research and found out that even the desktop version of Safari works this way. It won't view just view the file using the URL Everything gives.
example in Safari on Windows:
Doesn't Display: http://localhost/C:/logo.gif
Displays: http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif

This might be possible by embedding the files in html.

I will consider adding this option.
