709b can no longer do <file: A|folder: B>

Post by SafetyCar »

I've been noticing some strange behaviors on the new 709b, among others i can no longer do <file: abc|folder: cba>

I was liking the beta because of the preview and thumbnail options, but the searching is somehow getting broken without the ability to do independent steps to go down the search... :?

I'm sorry if I sound a little rude, I'm don't want to. I'm just trying to be constructive.

Please try changing the search operator precedence:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Search tab.
  • Change Operator precedence to AND > OR.
  • Click OK.

Thanks, it' worked. Maybe I changed it by accident? I don't know. Sorry for the inconveniences.

In Everything 1.4 operator precedence defaults to OR > AND.

While in Everything 1.3 it defaults to AND > OR.
