search string dropdown "history" question

Hi!

It's pretty astonishing, that when I click arrow on drop down button (or press alt+down) I see some of my old searches. I even don't remember when I searched those words. So the logic behind this table is obscure for me: what is it? oldest, most used, random? o_O

I expect, that on top of this list there are recent searches, but no..

How can I fix it? I was searching through options but didn't find anything that can solve the problem..

Also it would be great to have scrollbar in this dropdown to scroll to earlier searches. Now about 20 strings are displayed, but would be much better if the number were about, say 500..

Search History, sorted on search count.

There are various "history" preferences in Everything.ini.

You can experiment with them (must Quit Everything before modifying), or search the forums, FAQ, Help to see if there is more information on their meanings.
