everything doesn't find "notepad.exe" under VISTA

I have vista on my computer.

I tried to find notepad.exe in c:\windows and in c:\windows\system32,
but everything couldn't find those.
Almost all the files in windows map are not found

I also tried AVAfind.exe, this search program is quite old but still very good;
AVAfind found all notepad.exe instances

I saw that all files with TrustedInstaller were not found

Some files in the windows folder are hardlinks and not physical files.

To determine if a file is a hardlink I would recommend the Link Shell Extension.

"Everything" will show only the original hardlinked file.
