Too much memory
Too much memory
Everything search shows as consuming 300 MB of memory. Why is this so high and how can reduce this memory footprint? I guess it may be due to what I selected to index on the index tab in options. What are the optimal settings to have on index tab to get the best out of everything search and still have a small memory footprint?

In todays Windows systems this is not that much, even Defender uses constantly more that this.

Please consider excluding results from your index.

How many files are we talking about, & what Indexing options do you have selected?
