I have a server and installed on it 'everything' - it has worked well. On my PC I also have 'everything' working - I would like to use both databases. However opening security holes scares me - is there an easy way for the two databases to be accessed from my PC - obviously if it takes longer than windows search there is no point?
Also I am able to bring the server everything.db to my desktop automatically - is there anyway practically the two can be used simultaneously or merged?

It is not possible to include another computer's Everything.db yet.
You will be able to include another computer's Everything.db in your local index for the next release of "Everything".
