Microsoft office documents are not opening from everything search, only excel opens to blank page .

Microsoft office documents are not opening when I double click the fire.

Excel opens to a blank page. I have been using the product for years but this only started happening in the last few days.

Any idea what might be going on?

Make sure you have "Run as Administrator" disabled, and "Start Everything Service" enabled under Options. Then restart the program.

Please make sure Everything is installed correctly and running as a standard user:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
• Click OK.
• Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
• Restart Everything.
