Incorrect path in Everything

I find the word of “Users” in the path of any document is replaced with “r” in Everything toady. For example, the path of this folder is: “C:\Users\lingc\Desktop\My library\Network in small groups”. But in the path of Everything (see the attached figure), it is: “C:\r\lingc\Desktop\My library\Network in small groups”. And the software reports it cannot locate the folder. To clarify, the path of the folder by itself does not change, it is still “C:\Users\lingc\Desktop\My library\Network in small groups”.

This is just an example. All the documents in my computer are now have incorrect paths in Everything, which make Everything not workable to locate the files and fodders quickly. Could you give me some suggestions about how to fix this problem?

Looks like database corruption.

Please try forcing a rebuild:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Click Force Rebuild.
• Click OK.

If that doesn't help, please try deleting your Everything database:

• Exit Everything (File -> Exit)
• Delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everything\Everything.db
• Restart Everything.
