Everything 1.5 is too resource intensive

Everything 1.5 should use less resources than Everything 1.4.
Everything will use more resources if you index properties or content.

What are you indexing under Tools -> Options -> Indexes?
Are you indexing properties or content?

Everything should only use about 100MB per 1 million files.

Unless you are indexing 30 million files, this RAM usage is unexpected.

Perhaps you could try a drive that indexes only part of the important data, instead of indexing the entire hard drive or multiple hard drives with a large number of files on the server
