New installations is failing

Post by sk2107 »

Hello,

My last successful update was 1.5.0.1361a.x64 and I did not check for updates for sometime.

Today I tried to install the latest update 1.5.0.1378a.x64 , installation was successful but when Everything starts it shows the list for few second and exits the whole application.

I started installing the versions down one by one and all have the same behavior until Version 1.5.0.1373a (x64) which worked fine, but 1374a up to 1378a had the same described behavior.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

thank you.

Sorry . I was so happy that it worked out but it seems not

|t only extended the time few seconds and crashed after that, but it gave me few more seconds to start debug (attached log).

Now I had to go back to 1.5.0.1373a (x64).

Thank you

Thank you for the troubleshooting information sk2107,

Everything 1.5.0.1380a fixes a crash when gathering indexed values.

The crash was caused from indexing the "Index Volume Label" property and enabling fast sort.

Does the issue persist with this version?
