Hi all
I'm new on this forum, so I hope I'm not asking a dumb question!
I've been using Everything for a few months now and find it really useful to search so quickly.
It's not a big issue, but I can't seem to change the default language to English UK. I've downloaded and installed the .lng pack, and looked through some of the posts which seem relevant (particularly the one about German/English changes) and it seems to be set up properly.
Can anyone advise me, please? I would be most grateful.

- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab on the left.
- Change Language to English (UK)
- Click OK.

Many thanks for such a quick response. I'm afraid I have followed the link you provided (I had in fact done this before I posted but thought I must be doing something wrong) and it still does not show anything other than "English (US) User Default" and "User Default". I have restarted several times now without success.

As your INI's look OK, I can think of only one remaining valid reason why this could happen and that is a long shot ...
Maybe you have 2 Everythings installed on your system, where you added the language file to "Everything 1" (the one in C:\Program Files\Everything) and you are running and looking at "Everything 2", which is installed in a different folder.
You can check where Everything is running from in Task Manager. Assuming Windows 10:
- Start Task Manager
- Go to the Details tab
- Sort results by Name
- For each Everything.exe in the list: Right-click > Properties and check "Location" (= the folder of Everything.exe).
- Let us know the results
